Affiliated Lending – Opportunity or Liability?
Despite risks, affiliated lending can increase production.
Inlanta Mortgage Senior Vice President of Business Development, Paul Buege, recently published an article in the March 2014 issue of the Scotsman Guide entitled Opportunity or Liability? The article discusses the risks and benefits involved in affiliated lending.
“A well-functioning affiliated relationship benefits not only the strategic partners, but also their clients and the regulators reviewing these business structures,” says Buege.
Buege is a 25 year mortgage industry veteran specializing in strategic business alliances, marketing service agreements and partner program development. Buege joined Inlanta in late 2013. Previously, Buege worked at Shelter Mortgage as the Senior Vice President, Business Development. Before that, he was the president & COO of Universal Mortgage Corporation. He also held senior management positions in sales and secondary marketing with Fleet Mortgage Corporation.
