Nick's experience of over 30 years in proven sales, marketing and operations leadership allows him to help guide Inlanta in an industry that since the financial crisis has faced serious challenges and difficulties. The dual challenges of maintaining regulatory compliance in an environment of new complex regulations and while simultaneously building efficient operations can only be achieved with employees that have a clear vision and focus on process improvement coupled with an effective use of technology and training. Nick is privileged to work with quality people in this organization and seeks to use his knowledge, leadership and experience to help ensure Inlanta Mortgage’s continued track record of success.
Prior to joining Inlanta Mortgage, Nick served as the President, CEO, and founder of Amerihome Mortgage Company, LLC. Amerihome Mortgage was founded in 1997 as a mortgage banking enterprise providing funding for residential and commercial loans. The Company was ranked the seventh largest lender in Greater Milwaukee. The company was also awarded a “Master Medal” three times as a Future 50 company by the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce, an award given to the 50 fastest growing companies in Milwaukee.
Mr. DelTorto’s career began at Mortgage Associates, headquartered in Milwaukee, WI in 1982. The company became Fleet Mortgage Corp. a subsidiary of Fleet Financial Group. Mr. DelTorto opened the first office for Fleet in Boston, Massachusetts. He was promoted and relocated to Southern California where he was responsible for Fleet Mortgage Groups expansion in Southern California and served as the company’s broker/officer of record.
As a Regional Vice President of Fleet Mortgage Group, Mr. DelTorto was relocated to the corporate headquarters in Milwaukee in 1994 and was responsible for retail and wholesale lending including operations in the Midwest and South Central regions. His career spans over 30 years in the mortgage banking industry.
Nick holds a B.S. degree in Finance and Accounting from Northeastern University, Boston, Massachusetts after working during school on the Boston Stock Exchange and Merrill Lynch to pay for his education.
Nick is the Past President of the WMBA (Wisconsin Mortgage Bankers Association) He is immediate past Co-Chair the National MBA’s Independent Mortgage Bankers Committee.
He is currently the MBA State Ambassador to the Wisconsin WMBA, a member of the National Executive Council of Independent Mortgage Bankers, Vice Chairman of the Residential Loan Production Committee and a member of the Board of Governors for the National MBA.
Nick is actively involved in his community and is a program coordinator for the St. Vincent de Paul meal program in the inner city of Milwaukee and an active member of St. Anthony on the Lake Parish in Pewaukee, WI.
An avid, sailor, sport fisherman, Harley rider, and currently is preparing for his US Coast Guard Captains License, he also loves to cook for his family and friends, Nick lives with his wife Joanne, and raised their three grown children, in Pewaukee, a suburb of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
